Look #8 Walking on Eggshells

I am here to spread the word! Let me preface this by saying that I once too was a nonbeliever but I have seen the light! I have finally took the plunge and have been renewed by Wet n' Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Trio! It is everything I have heard it to be - a cheap, highly pigmented, long lasting beautiful eyeshadow! And if you want to try it out for yourself they are 50% off at Meijer right now.

What I used
Wet n' Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Trio in Walking on Eggshells
Urban Decay 24/7 Eyeliner in Flipside
Also I used Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer just the normal one

Me at 6:30 this morning

Me at 3:30 this afternoon

This look has survived
-My sweaty workday
-The blooming hot weather
-My shiny new crown getting put in

hallelujah!

Look # 7: Polish-Your-Nails-Like-Your-Swimsuit!

I painted my nails to match my swimsuit!
Ahhhhhhhh!!!!
I'm stoked at how well they turned out, if I say so myself!

Here are the polishes I used:
Base -- Revlon "Hot for Chocolate"
Flowers and Blotches -- Sally Henson Insta-dri "Lightening", Wet 'n Wild #402, OPI "Ogre the Top Blue", OPI "Do You Lilac it?", Sinful Colors "Oasis", OPI "Who the Shrek are You?", OPI "Atomic Orange"
My matching cover-up is in the background

I used a paper plate as a palette, cotton swabs, and a nail dotting tool.

Look #6 E-E-E-Eeeewoks

Ok so this look doesn't have too much to do with Ewoks other than the fact that it matches my Ewok shirt.

What I used:

Mac e/s Sun Blonde (Surf Baby USA) all over lid and lower inner lash line
Mac e/s Saffron (Surf Baby USA) outer lid and crease as well as lower outer lash line
Mac e/s Short Shorts (Surf Baby USA) inner corner highlight and eyebrow highlight
Tarte SmolderEYES eyeliner in Fig
Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes in Black

I'm really loving playing around with Sun Blonde which is a mustardy yellow color. And who would have thought I would love anything that had to do with mustard! Saffron is so much fun as a crease color - its a dirty kinda orange color. I would highly recommend adding similar colors to your collection if you are looking for something fun and different!

Yub Nub!

Look #5: TMNT

This was a look a did a couple weeks ago. I had been watching Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles so that was my inspiration. I used mostly my E.L.F pallet but the lighter green color is MAC Sharp.

Look #4 Boom Biz Bang

This was inspired by Kandee Johnson's 4th of July look.
Here is what I used:  Make-up Forever Flash Palette Blue, e.l.f. cool palette (spring) the first blue on the left in the top row, pop sugar "Glitter Addict" blue with Hard Candy's  Show Girl's Secret Glitter Glue and Urban Decay 24/7 liner in "Honey"

Start with a neutral shade all over the eye.  I used the top white and pink colors in the e.l.f. palette shown.  Then with an angled brush line your eye, carefully -- the colors in the flash palette smear very easily so if you are using a cream shadow or something like that try to keep your lid down and don't open your eye too wide or you will get a double line on your lid.

Next, wing it out!

After my first wing, I swiped a second one under it.  You don't have to do that.  Or you can put three or four....whatever you like, Little Firecracker!

Next set it with your blue shadow.  Once you've done this you might want to use a fan brush to wipe off the excess that will be on your wings.

Dip a thin tipped brush in the Glitter Glue and dip this in the glitter.  Carefully follow your line of blue, but honestly, a little fallout won't hurt ya here!  Then I lined my waterline with the 24/7 "Honey" and finished off in under my eye.  I blended the blue and the "Honey" together a little bit.

Cheeks: Hot Topic red blush with a stipple brush.  I got this blush for $.98!  Sweet!

Lips.  Line with Urban Decay 24/7 Lip Liner and finish off with Tarina Tarantino "Ruby Headphone".  Any red lip stick or gloss will do!

I also have my BIG bump it in with a banana clip and my 4th of July Tiara.  Whoop whoop!

When trying to look cute turns into looking like a psycho!

I need to work on the lighting AND ignore the mess in the back!  Ugh!

Look #3 Firecracker!

There is a learning curve to this blog thing, so Jaclyn has asked me to post her look.  I'm going to have to assume what the colors are.  I would say White Rabbit from the UD Alice in Wonderland palette all over eye, then Alice from the same palette on the lid.  Lastly, I would guess that is UD Gash put wet with a thin brush.

I love the black liner on her waterline.  It really makes the look pop.  Don't ya think?  I can't wait to see if I'm right about the colors!!!!
